Our Team

Tim O’Toole, CFE CPA

Tim O’Toole, CFE, CPA is founder and CEO of Southeast Fraud Investigation Services, LLC.  He has been a Certified Fraud Examiner for over twenty-five years and a CPA for almost forty years.

Prior to founding Southeast Fraud Investigation Services, he was responsible for the audit practice for Vestal & Wiler, one of Central Florida’s leading accounting firms serving owner-managed, middle market companies.  In that role, Tim was also responsible for that firm’s forensics and litigation support practices.  Tim has also been the CFO of two privately held companies during his career.  These years of practical, focused experience is the source for Southeast Fraud’s unique, three phase assessment process, which educates business owners on how to maintain the value in their businesses by increasing their awareness as to how to fight fraud.

Those roles and responsibilities have provided Tim the experience necessary to assist and educate business owners how to significantly reduce the opportunities for their businesses to fall prey to fraud and embezzlement schemes.  His experience has also made him a great asset to teams already involved or about to become involved with cases involving defalcations, be they civil or criminal proceedings.  He has worked directly with some of Central Florida’s elite law firms and lawyers to resolve cases as expeditiously and cost effectively as our legal system allows.  He does so with effective communication, both verbal and written in either deposition or in actual testimony in court.

We are at the forefront of this quickly changing economy and we work closely with our clients because we are fully committed to meeting and exceeding expectations. We also believe in keeping our services affordable to our clients, we make sure to work around your budget.
